Our visual identity is inspired by 70’s and 80’s counter culture. By combining elements of rock & roll, skate culture, and a Venice Beach vibe we create a laid-back, classic identity that stands out by conveying fun, energy, and originality. Our brand’s narrative is centered around our iconic wordmark. Our core logo is bold, strong, and retro. It’s a call back to classic restaurant logos but is infused with modern touches. Stack is a brand that is really passionate about burgers and the culture surrounding them. For us that meant Rock and Roll music, surfing, skating, and enjoying the California sun. This vibe is what we wanted to convey to everyone who comes to Stack and orders one of their signature burgers. We really wanted this to be the case in brand communication by using punk inspired collage, cartoon style illustrations, and hand written headlines that are tongue in cheek. With Stack it’s all about good food and good vibes.

The ‘Burger Dude’ is our brand’s way of bringing a touch of fun, vintage vibes, and a laid back attitude to our communication. You could easily see this dude catching a couple waves or just taking it easy on Venice Beach.
